Back to Health 101

Happy Spring..err, I mean Winter, it's Winter, right?! I have recovered from the Holidays and probably, like you, trying to get back into a regular routine. But definitely enjoying this beautiful warm weather. I'm also really excited to announce my upcoming group program, Back to Health 101!  It will be a combination of Fitness, Nutrition and Lifestyle information, all in one class! I will be partnering with my friend, Eleni Frediani who is a compassionate, knowledgable and talented Coach and Trainer.


Most sessions will be held at Diablo CrossFit in Alamo and Pleasant Hill with the exception of two of the sessions. Even though the sessions will be held at Diablo CrossFit,  you do not need to be a Diablo CrossFit member to join the program!

                            6 Week Back to Health 101

            Did you start the New Year with great intentions, only to loose your motivation?

          Do you feel confused about what to eat or what you should be doing for exercise?

If you feel like you need a Jump Start, Restart or complete New Start, this unique program is for you!
Athlete and CrossFit trained Coach, Eleni Frediani and Certified Health Coach, Ana Mooney are teaming

up to bring you the Ultimate Guide to a Heathy New you! 

         You will learn or re-learn all the components that make up a Healthy Body and Mind!

We’re taking it Back to the Basics so you can feel confident, empowered and in control of your     Health and Fitness! The first part of each session will be fitness focused and the second part will be Nutrition/Lifestyle focused



Back to Health 101 Program Syllabus:     

Sunday March 8 

Location: Diablo CrossFit Alamo, 3:00pm
Fitness: Importance of Stretching for flexibility, balance and mobility!
Nutrition: Back to Basics: 
What basic foods you should be eating for a healthy body!

Sunday March 15
Location: Diablo CrossFit Pleasant Hill, 3:00pm
Fitness: Hotel Style Workouts: Being out of your comfort zone is no excuse to not workout! How to get a great, quick workout, even in your Hotel room!
Nutrition: Special Guest: Chef Alan Skversky will show you how to prepare bulk meals so you feel prepared and stress free!

Sunday March 22
Location: 
Diablo CrossFit Alamo, 3:00 pm
Fitness: Benefits of Strength Training: Even if you don’t know what a dumbell looks like (or you’ve forgotten) Eleni will show you some great exercises and the benefits of getting stronger!
Lifestyle: Primary Foods: What really feeds you? Hint: It’s not what you put in your mouth! 

Sunday March 29
Location: Shell Ridge Open Space Meeting location will be emailed, Time:tbd
Takin' it to the Hills: You do not want to miss this one! We are so blessed to live in a place that has access to miles of Open Space. We will take you on a guided, moderate hike to show you all the benefits that come with being outside.

Sunday April 5 Easter
No class

Sunday April 12
Location: Earth and Sea Yoga, Lafayette, Noon
Fitness/Lifestyle: We’re taking a Yoga class! For the beginner to the experienced Yogi, Brittany will lead us through a Mindful Yoga class. You’re sure to feel relaxed and rejuvinated!

Sunday April 19 (Final Session)
Location: 
Diablo CrossFit Alamo, 3:00 pm
Fitness: Circuit workout: This will incorporate everything you learned in one final workout!
Nutrition: Breaking Bad and Wrap Up: How to Break up with your Bad Habits and learn to incorporate Healthy new ones!

In addition to the Group Sessions, you will receive:

  • Unlimited email access to both Coaches to address your personal health concerns
  • Devoted FB page for your Back to Health group with recipes, fitness tips, weekly inspiration and group support
  • Giveaways for you to use at home!

All sessions will include some type of workout, so come prepared to move your body! All fitness levels welcome!


                          Cost of the 6 week program is $300 and limited to 12 people
